It’s that time of year when Pantone announces the color they see taking a big stand in the coming year. They view it as a “symbolic color selection; a snapshot of what we see taking place in our global culture…” and in our neck of the woods – wedding colors! With their selection of Greenery 15-0343 they see “a refreshing and revitalizing shade, Greenery is a symbolic of new beginnings.”

Up the Creek is the PERFECT place to have Greenery call its home – along with all its friends! We have already seen a weddings with hints of Greenery but we have a hunch that this Spring we will see this punch of color. We have been adding to our Greenery Wedding board on Pinterest and can’t wait to see what will appear at the Boathouse.screen-shot-2016-12-12-at-10-03-56-pm

To help welcome Greenery into the Up the Creek Family we have combed through and found some wonderful inspiration boards from Snippit & Ink. There are slightly different shades but the message is the same – Green is King!

The tie and the wild floral arrangement immediately jumped out from this Vintage-Botanical board.

The simplistic yet undeniable elegance of this Lily of the Valley board is timeless.

This exudes Southern Hospitality –  mint julep cups with the green of mint leaves, bow ties and the crisp look of white and green is everything that is southern. Oh, and we can’t forget the pineapples!

We love the preppy pops of green in this Green Striped Wedding board. The subtle tablecloth paired with crisp fruit and the surprise of a green envelope that will be the first thing your guests will see make us fall in love with green all over again!
