The Junior League of South Brevard (JLSB) is excited to announce the 32nd Annual Festival of Trees. Start the holiday season right with this family-friendly event is an annual community fundraiser that allows us to continue improving Brevard County through financial & volunteer commitments. You can look forward to seeing:

*Beautifully adorned trees (including an Up the Creek Farms tree!) and wreaths of all sizes available for purchase via silent auction.
*Fabulous vendor marketplace perfect for early holiday shopping.
*Order festive poinsettias to decorate your home.
*Feed your sweet tooth with yummy gifts & treats.
*Exciting raffle packages.
*Meet & Greet with Santa where you can take photographs, and stay for games & crafts.
*Register your children online for Cooking with Mrs. Claus! (Free event sponsored by JLSB’s Kids in the Kitchen).

The Space Coast Lightfest is a holiday themed drive-through event held at Wickham Park. It is a family oriented celebration featuring shimmering lights and dazzling animated displays (drawing over 15,000 vehicles annually) The 1.1 mile long park is transformed into a winter wonderland filled with hundreds-of-thousands of lights.
Experience the wonders of the season up close as you journey through the twinkling displays that thrill young and old! The finale is the 200 foot long Light tunnel with over 30,000 bulbs that completes your experience in a pulse of color.
This year’s LightFest will include a multitude of special events including:
* The Run Among the Lights 5K race to kick off the season (November 20th)
* New! Stroll Among the Lights (December 3rd and 4th)
* New! Say Goodbye to the Lights Stroll January 1st
* Hayrides every Friday, Saturday and Sunday!
* Meet and Greet with Santa!
* Popcorn and Hot Chocolate concession sales to support local Scouting units
* Private parties and hayrides available
* Horse Drawn Carriage Rides

Historic Downtown Melbourne invites you to enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of the holiday season fashioned after Olde English country holiday traditions. Shops remain open late, are lit with white candles and lights, and serve such holiday fare as cakes, cookies, teas, apple cider, coffee and hot chocolate.

Space Coast Marathon & Half Marathon – Sunday, November 27, 2016

Running Zone Foundation and Space Coast Runners welcome you to the 45th running of the Space Coast Marathon and Half-Marathon – Florida’s oldest marathon. We invite runners and walkers alike to experience one of the most beautiful USATF certified waterfront courses on the east coast of Florida.

Both races start in the historic and quaint Cocoa Village, and finish with a lap around the Riverfront Park amphitheater where family and friends can cheer and watch your finish.

As our race is held within the shadow of the Kennedy Space Center, the entire event revolves around a space theme sure to delight and energize our participants. Click here for registration & information!
