A wedding joins two families, extending traditions to new “in-laws” and new generations. Including family customs and acknowledging family members adds warmth to wedding day details. From photos, to cultural nods in decor, to special rituals in the ceremony or reception, a wedding becomes a delightfully memorable part of family history. During Sarah and Matthew’s 2.24.18 wedding, sweet details welcomed guests including photos of family members from decades passed. The rustic, vintage chic theme wrapped all of Sarah and Matthew’s ideas together for a charming celebration.
At the ceremony site, guests were greeted with their first family photo of the day on Crystal and Crate’s Abby Cupboard. A batch of various dainty handkerchiefs were provided to catch “happy tears”. Sarah and Matthew’s ceremony was bright, sunny, and graceful. A lounge set under the mossy oaks, and a ’48 Ford Truck served as a fun photo backdrop allowing for their guests to enjoy the outside during cocktail hour. Inside the boathouse, decor included vintage trinkets and old photos of family members’ weddings. As a thoughtful extension to bringing the past into the present, Sarah chose to have Eco Flowers as her and her bridesmaids bouquets. Bouquet today & decor in your home tomorrow and for years to come!
