One of the most grand details that, on occasion, graces the main ceremony site of Up the Creek Farms is a piano. It amazes the UTCF staff when a piano is delivered on site for the special day – it takes such care and strength to deliver a piano! The muscles and patience it takes, however, to transport a piano has a lovely and valuable reward: the sweet sounds of those ivory keys playing music under the mossy oaks. We are always excited to hear there will be live music at an UTCF event or wedding, whether at the ceremony or with a band at the reception. Typically there are professional musicians or family and friends playing the music, but on 3.4.18 we were in for a real treat! The musician was the Groom!
Christina & Rich’s March wedding day was breathtakingly beautiful. From the bride, bridal party, and the guests to the blooms, decor, and sweet treats – everything was pretty. The groom looked dashing in his tuxedo, then made everyone’s hearts skip a beat when he played the piano for his bride. Rich played music prior to the start of the ceremony, and then again during the service with his bride alongside him. Such a special, unforgettable moment to witness!
We wish Christina and Rich only the very best in their marriage – may sweet music and beautiful celebrations grace your life always!
