How many people does your venue hold?
We are able to accommodate up to 175 guests inside the Boathouse. Depending on the package and season, we have different options to accommodate any size wedding!
When and how can I schedule a tour?
Up the Creek Farms is available for tours by appointment only: Monday-Thursdays and on weekends availability based around scheduled events. Please feel free to complete the contact us page to check availability and schedule a tour of the venue.
Does the Boathouse having central heating and air conditioning?
Absolutely, we can’t imagine a wedding without!
How do I reserve a date for my event?
There is a $1,500 down payment to reserve a date, following the down payment, a contract will be emailed showing your payment schedule. Most packages are made in 2-4 installments.
What is the end time for events?
We are in a residential area and follow a noise ordinance that requires music and events to end by 10pm on Friday and Saturday and 9pm on Sunday-Thursday.
Do you include tables and chairs for the ceremony and reception?
Of course! We take care of all the necessities for your wedding including all set up and break down. Round tables, beautiful upgraded French country chairs and floor length linen rentals (in an array of colors) are included in all Up the Creek Farms packages. We also include hand crafted farmhouse benches for your ceremony. Upgrades are available for an additional fee.
Is there parking on site?
We have a private parking lot staffed with attendants during events. There is also accessibility for buses, limousines, and drop off services like Uber.
Do you have a wedding coordinator to help manage our event?
We feel this is one of the most important aspects of your wedding, and include a certified wedding planner with all packages. Our all-inclusive package will give you the opportunity to have a dedicated wedding planner be at your side at a minimum of 1 year from your wedding date and coordinate and attend all inclusive vendor meetings. If you select an a la carte package where you will contract your vendors (caterer, DJ, florist, cake, invitations, photographer, etc.) we will provide a month of wedding planner to help with final details including a day of timeline, floor plan, and managing the wedding so you’re able to enjoy it with zero stress!
If you have already selected a planner, we are more than happy to coordinate the logistics with them.
What is your catering and alcohol policy?
A licensed and insured caterer must be selected from our list of Approved Caterers. You may purchase your own alcohol and have it brought to UTCF or have your caterer provide the alcohol. Your caterer must provide the bartender. All alcohol must be served from the bar or passed by licensed servers. Cash bars are not allowed.
Is insurance required?
Yes, a minimum $1,000,000 liability insurance policy is required. If you are serving alcohol, host liquor liability is also required. We recommend wedding insurance policies via The Event Helper or WedSafe.
What is your cancellation policy?
UTCF is pleased to host your event; however, in the event that your event is cancelled for any reason, the following policies shall apply:
1) The initial $1500 is non-refundable.
2) If UTCF is able to rebook your date with another event, you will receive a partial credit for your balance paid (depending on your package), less the non-refundable initial deposit.
3) If UTCF is NOT able to rebook your date with another event, any deposits made to date are non-refundable.
**If your event is cancelled, you will be asked to send us notification in writing to void any remaining balances due to UTCF.
Do you host overnight guests?
The Decklan House, a 140-year-old restored farmhouse, is available for overnight accommodations on select dates.
Do you allow photography shoots on your property?
Up the Creek Farms is the perfect backdrop for pictures. Bridal portrait sessions or an engagement session are complementary to our Up the Creek Farm couples. If you only want to book a bridal or engagement session, or family photos, it is $100 for 2 hours. Times must be reserved in advanced, as it allows exclusive use of the grounds.
How much does a wedding cost at Up the Creek Farms?
Our wedding and reception packages begin at $5200 for a weekday a la carte event. The average cost for a weekend wedding date for 75-100 guests is between $20k-$45k. Price is determined by time of year, day of the week, and number of guests. We also have Elopement and Vow Renewal options available. We’re happy to share specifics, just give us a call or send us an email.
Will there be another wedding on the same day?
At Up the Creek Farms, we only allow one event per day to give complete exclusivity of the venue to you and your guests.
Where is Up the Creek Farms located?
Up the Creek Farms is conveniently located 15 minutes south of Downtown Melbourne and just 30 minutes north of Vero Beach. We are less than an hour away from Orlando International Airport making it very convenient for destination weddings.
