How many people does your venue hold?
We are able to accommodate up to 175 guests inside the Boathouse. Depending on the package and season, our venue provides many different options to accommodate any size wedding.
When and how can I schedule a tour?
Up the Creek Farms is available for virtual and in-person tours by appointment: Monday-Friday and on weekends with availability based around events.
Do you accommodate LGBTQ weddings?
Of course! We are an inclusive company that provides couples with a safe space to celebrate who they love, no matter race, age, gender, or sexuality.
Does the Boathouse have central heating and air conditioning?
Absolutely, as Florida natives, we can’t imagine a wedding without!
How do I reserve a date for my event?
We’re so excited you’re ready to book! A deposit is required to reserve your wedding date, as we only accept one event per day. Following the deposit, a contract will be emailed outlining all the event details. Invoices are paid in 2-4 installments.
What is the latest our event can end?
Although we would love to party through the night, a noise ordinance and residential neighbors require music and events to end no later than 10pm on Friday and Saturday and 9pm on Sunday-Thursday.
What does it mean to be an All-Inclusive Venue?
Your vendors for Floral & Design, Catering, Dessert, Entertainment (DJ & emcee), and Planning are included in our package! Our goal is to provide a fun and stress free wedding experience from planning all the way to the big day!
Is there parking on site?
We have a private parking lot. There is accessibility for valet, buses, limousines, and drop off services like Uber.
Do you offer a military discount?
Yes, we offer a military discount for active duty service members who are part of the couple getting married. Please let us know during the booking process so we can apply the discount.
Are rocket launches visible on the property?
They are! We have a great view of launches over the tree line on the northern edge of our property. It’s such a fun experience for guests!
Is there an on-site area for the wedding party to get ready? Bridal Suite? Groom’s Suite?
Yes! The original 1878 Farmhouse on our property called The Decklan House includes a beautiful getting ready suite, billiard loft & lounge, wrap-around porches, as well as living & dining room areas for the wedding party attendees.
Do you host other events?
We specialize in weddings but also accommodate other events such as corporate events, charity functions, baby or bridal showers, and celebration of life memorials. If we’re available, we typically schedule these events within 3 months of your event date.
Do you have a wedding planner to help manage our event?
Our talented in-house team will create, plan and execute the event of your dreams. If you already selected a planner, we are more than happy to work with them.
May we incorporate our furry friend into our ceremony?
We are dog friendly and welcome well-behaved dogs in our outdoor spaces! We recommend having someone manage your furry friend, to entertain, pick up after, and keep him/her hydrated.
Do you host overnight guests?
The Decklan House, a 140-year-old restored farmhouse, is available for rent through our accommodations package for the bride & groom as a Honeymoon Suite.
Do you allow photography on your property?
Up the Creek Farms is the perfect backdrop for pictures! Bridal portrait sessions or an engagement session are complementary to our Up the Creek Farms couples. If you only want to book a bridal or engagement session, or family photos, it is $100 for 1 hour. Times must be reserved in advanced.
How much does a wedding cost at Up the Creek Farms?
Our wedding and reception packages range in price depending on the day of the week, time of year, and number of guests. We specialize in all-inclusive packages for those planning a destination wedding or those limited on time. We can also customize packages to fit your needs including micro-ceremonies, elopements, and vow renewal options. We’re happy to share specifics, just give us a call or send us an email.
Will there be another wedding the same day?
At Up the Creek Farms, we only allow one event per day to give complete exclusivity of the venue to you and your guests.
Where is Up the Creek Farms located?
Up the Creek Farms is conveniently located 15 minutes south of Downtown Melbourne and just 30 minutes north of Vero Beach. We are less than an hour away from Orlando International Airport making it very convenient for destination weddings.

Do you have on-site catering? Are food and/or beverages included in the rental package?
Our Classic Wedding Package includes a choice of 3 butler passed appetizers, a salad, 2 accompaniments, and 2 entrees. We also have various bar package options to choose from!
